Something about running around casinos and using slot machines for cover was highly amusing to me. I really enjoyed the first one but I have to admit a huge part of it was the environment. If colors were there for player 2, then everyone could stack up tighter. One thing about online co-op is how loose the teams are. Would have been cool if there was a different color coding that lights up when an order is given. I noticed you couldn't give orders to the 2nd player in-game, so it has to be verbal instead. Then, have the room continue with the next guy with the best ping if the host drops. Maybe they didn't have enough time to implement it? The real feature to have is 4p co-op, with members 2-4 being swappable with buddy AI the host could order around. It's also hot join/droppable the second player can join or leave as needed but the AI teammates are still there. On the upside, you can actually have cutscenes and com chatter and all the aspects of an actual SP campaign that Vegas 1 co-op removed. Vegas 2 has 2p co-op only for the campaign. Yes, I understand all that you're saying, but you're missing out on one huge advantage R6V1 & 2 will have over CoD in all it's current incarnations. I mean Halo3 was able to have 4 people all together in co-op online, why not R6? Even if it's only up to 2 on one box? But having 4 with no story at all is stupid, like it was on the first Vegas. And dumbing it down to 2 people is just stupid. I guess the 'full-story' co-op is nice, but that just seems like something that should have already been there. I did read that they were improving AI, but I'd like. I wonder if they've improved anything in the game, like graphics or gameplay or anything. Same location, same looking people, mostly same guns (sure there are new ones, but still have all the old ones), etc. Somehow it seems like it is just a bigger expansion pack, what with not many things about the game changing all that much. I suspect that a majority of members who make up one group are in the other as well, though. But I enjoyed the first one, and since it was pretty popular as far as shooters go, I predict that fans of the original will buy it, and maybe any other shooter fans looking for their next fix if they're already bored.

Honestly the game looks as if it will just be more of the same, with a few new weapons. It's just that it feels so much more like CoD4 with the weapons and whatnot, I kept forgetting that it was more similar to Halo in its controls. I kept wanting to pull the left trigger to zoom in the scope, but of course it's the right stick like in Halo. I even went back to the first one just to play it a little bit in anticipation of the next installment, and coming from playing Call of Duty 4 it feels so different in style, it was a little hard to get used to again. I don't think there is anything 'new' enough about it to warrant that. I pre-ordered, but I doubt it will knock off CoD4.
